Join Olamina Botanicals at Pioneer Works’ Fall Equinox Party on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 for Wild Bitters: Herbal Glycerites with the forgotten flavor.

During the workshop, attendees will sample glycerites of anise hyssop, motherwort, mugwort, yarrow and shiso—made by Jess Turner from herbs growing in the Pioneer Works garden—and talk about the role that the bitter flavor plays in digestion, hormonal regulation and emotional processing, plus the benefits of incorporating it into the diet.

Stop by the DIY bitters station to mix and match your own combination of glycerites and make a 30mL bottle of alcohol-free digestive bitters to take home.

This event will also feature immersive culinary happenings by Tables of Contents, a performance by Pioneer Works Alumni Music Resident Holland Andrews, a DJ set by Little Dynasty, back to school portraits with Rachel Stern and tastings by Sandeman Port. An alcohol-free elderberry immunity elixir made with Olamina Botanicals Elderberry Syrup will be available at the bar.
